Welcome on webpage dedicated to our borzois

I breed dogs more than 20 years. Borzois are part of my family from 1998. My family started with breeding of Irish setters. Later on, due to my work for rescue organization Sloboda zvierat (Freedom of animals), I met lot of various and very interesting breeds of dogs. Then I had opportunity to train and work with various types of dog characters. I have been dazzled by BORZOI and it became No1. breed for me. Once you know it - its exceptional aristocratic character, intelligence, great flexibility and empathy – you will love it. Life with borzoi is the life with the best dog friend and fellow which one can desire.

My breeding is a bit unconventional. My kennel, specialized mainly on borzois, was based on unwanted and abandoned dogs. In year 2003, unwanted 3.5-years old male borzoi Quincy z Palatinu Moravia came to us (nowadays, his daughter Calinka Zwezda Hornada keeps my dogs amused). In year 2004, I tried to return "sunlight to the life" of two 6-years old desolate-looking borzois, female Galka Saniva and male Atamán Grisa (he is now 11 years old and his son Amuri-Pajkos Etalon is part of our pack of sighthounds). Later in 2006, I brought home 2.5-years old female Amuri-Pajkos Desszert (her mother became dam of my first litter of borzois). Life with borzois had helped me to understand this breed and I started my own breeding.

The aim of my breeding is to maintain the typical character of borzoi, which is inseparable part of this breed along with excellent health and exterior as perfect as possible.
